Discover the art of character transformation in this immersive Life Casting & Mask Making workshop, designed for artists looking to advance into high-level prosthetics and character creation.
This intensive hands-on training guides you through the complete process—from capturing accurate life casts to sculpting, moulding and finishing a fully realised character mask. You will work with professional materials and techniques to create a bespoke mask from concept to completion.
With expert guidance, you will develop a strong understanding of anatomy, material handling and safety practices used in professional environments. The workshop also explores practical applications across film, theatre and creative industries, helping you build both technical skill and artistic confidence.
By the end of the workshop, you will gain the foundational knowledge required to continue developing advanced prosthetic and character work.

A structured blend of product knowledge, guided demonstrations and hands-on practical sessions, with personalised feedback and corrections.

Workshop Availability

• Workshops are conducted subject to a minimum of two confirmed attendees.
• Limited participants – first come, first serve basis.
• To confirm your seat, a non-refundable advance payment of ₹10,000 is required.
• If the workshop does not meet the minimum requirement, you may opt to join the waiting list by sharing your details, workshop title, and preferred date(s).
• You will be contacted once the minimum number of participants is reached and confirmation can be issued.
• If you have booked and are the sole attendee for a scheduled workshop, you will be informed at least one week prior to the course date.


Additional Information

Do I need to bring anything?
All tools, brushes, and products (including SFX lab materials for practice) will be provided. We do recommend bringing an old T-shirt or an apron… creativity can get a little messy!

Will a model be provided?
Models are not provided. Participants may work on themselves or bring a model for practical sessions.

Where will the training be conducted?
The workshop will be conducted in a state-of-the-art SFX lab in Chennai, fully equipped with professional tools, equipment, and materials required for training.

Is accommodation provided?
Accommodation is not included. Participants travelling from outside Chennai are required to arrange their own stay. Information on nearby accommodation options can be provided upon request.

A certificate will be provided upon successful completion of the workshop.
